Church Whore 2 Page 9
As Jezebel followed the car, she had an uneasy feeling. She knew her mother was crazy, but Damien was downright scary. He had no conscious at all. She wished she could take her sisters, and move away from her mother and brother. She had to figure out a way to get her sisters from under her clutches. She needed to see Delilah. If she could get her on her side, Tamar would be easy to convince. They could go somewhere and start over. Maybe they could actually live a normal life for a change. Jezebel had thought about having her baby on a big old farm, way out in the country. They needed peace; they needed to rest.
________
Jezebel, dressed in scrubs, maneuvered around the mental institution. She called in a favor with a doctor she used to mess with in order to get inside. It took a few weeks to go through the interview process and to get hired. Good ole Dr. Harris came through for her.
Jezebel familiarized herself with her surroundings until she found Delilah. She saw her sitting at a table in the corner. Jezebel looked around, quickly sat down, and grabbed Delilah’s hand.
“Hey, Dee!” Jezebel smiled at her sister.
Delilah looked up in a drug filled haze. She tilted her head to the side. “Bella, is that you?” Jezebel straightened her short wig that was cut into a bob.
“Yeah, girl, it’s me.” Jezebel kept looking around. “Dee, what are you doing in here?”
“I’m not Dee, I’m Tamar,” Delilah said.
Jezebel grabbed her face. “Dee, look at me, you have got to stop taking that medicine so that I can get you out of here. You want to get out of here, don’t you?” Delilah nodded. “Ok, good, but you got to do something for me, sissy, ok? I need you to hide all your medicine. Do not take any more medicine, ok? Do you understand?”
“Then I can leave with you?” Delilah sounded like a kid.
“Yes, sissy, you can leave with me, but only if you do what I say. Now, what are you supposed to do?”
“No medicine.”
“Riiiight! I need you sharp, ok? I need the strong Delilah, ok?”
“Yeah, you gonna take me home?” Delilah’s eyes seemed blank.
“Yeah, Dee, I’m going to take you home.” Jezebel looked around and quickly kissed her sister on the cheek before getting up. “Love you, sissy, I’ll be back.” Jezebel managed to get out of there without being noticed. As she walked to her station, she thought about how difficult it would be to get Dee to cooperate. She had no choice but to wait for her to stop the meds. She loved the freedom of night shift and she would be able to have more time with her sister. All she had to do was slip her a pair of scrubs; an identical wig, another ID pass, and it was a go.
________
The missionary team had been at Denard and Bernice’s to get their house cleaned. They welcomed him home and cooked enough food for a week. His neighbor, Marie, was right by his side helping him.
Denard was so grateful for the help. He settled in on the couch. He looked around, remembering the last time he was there. To be honest, he didn’t want to spend the night by himself there. One thing about being in the hospital, there was already somebody around.
“Denard, are you hungry?” Marie asked.
“No, thank you. I’m kind of tired, though.”
“It’s probably the meds kicking in. Here, get comfortable on the couch.” Marie helped Denard stretch out and she covered him with a blanket. She left him to rest and went into the kitchen to put up all the food that was left.
After putting the food in containers, Marie started to leave, but she stopped. She went back into the living room and made herself comfortable in the gold wingback chair that dated back to the seventies, but it was comfortable. She remembered seeing another blanket on top of the dryer, so she went into the laundry room to retrieve it. Entering into the living room, Denard was fast asleep, snoring loudly. She shook her head and smiled at her friend. She sat back down, wrapped herself up in the blanket, and, before she knew it, sleep had found her.
________
Damien rode pass to see who all was in the house. “It’s just one person there with him, you want me to do it tonight?”
“No, let’s wait it out a few days. I know those church folk will be in and out for the next few days. We need to wait until he’s no longer news, that way we don’t have to worry about anyone finding him alive.”
“Lilith, did you forget who you are talking to?” Damien scoffed.
“Boy, hush, and bring us something to eat.”
“We just went to the store, Lilith.” His mother irritated him like crazy.
“Well, I don’t want that. Stop by Cook Out, and get me a chopped BBQ platter and a strawberry shake, get Tamar one, too.” Damien sucked his teeth. “I swear you act just like a female!”
“Bye, Lilith.”
Before stopping at Cook Out, Damien stopped and picked up a hooker. She got in and gave him some of the best head of his life. She slurped and slobbered all over his dick, bobbing her head up and down like professional. He felt her saliva running down and dripping on his balls. Damien grabbed her hair and moved it out of the way. As he stroked the side of her face, he made hair fall in her face. He moved her hair and when he did that, his felt an Adams apple. He pulled her up by her hair. “What the fuck? You’re a man?”
He smacked his lips. “Don’t act like you didn’t know, boo.”
“Ah, hell nah, I ain’t gay! Get the hell out my car,” Damien screamed.
Smacking his lips again, he said, “I will when you pay me.”
“I’m not paying you shit! Get out my car!” Damien reached over, opened the door, and pushed his new friend out of the car. To his surprise, his friend fought back. Damien was a hot head, so it didn’t take much. He pulled out his .38, shot his friend in the side, and pushed him out of his car. He pulled off so fast that the car door swung closed on its own. He never looked back, but he looked down at his now limp dick. “Damn, what a shame. That was some good head.”
Chapter 14
Father
Help your children
And don’t let them fall
By the side of the road, mmm…mmm…
And teach them
To love one another
That Heaven might find
A place in their hearts
‘Cause Jesus is love
He won’t let you down
And I know He’s mine forever
Oh, in my heart.
Junior and his brothers belted out their rendition of the Commodores hit, Jesus Is Love. Edem’s voice was missed, though he was still on his honeymoon. Junior was about to start on verse two when he heard…
We’ve got to walk on
Walk on through temptation
“Cause His love and His wisdom
Will be our helping hand.
Junior looked up, and everyone turned around to see Edem and Ruthie walking down the aisle. Junior was all smiles. It was his first time seeing his brother without his cast and crutches.
As the brothers serenaded each other, Ruthie took a seat with the other first ladies and Edem joined his brother. The Blanks brothers gathered together and, once again, ushered the spirit of the Lord into the building. After singing, Junior got up to preach.
“Mark 4:39, the scripture reads: And he rose, and rebuked the wind, and unto to the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Church this is such a significant passage. It’s one of my mother’s favorite, Peace Be Still. To know that God can speak to the winds and the waves in your life, and make them all behave, that deserves a shout unto the Lord right there!” The congregation responded with applause.
“We serve such a mighty God that all He has to do is speak and it shall be done.” Junior snapped his fingers. “How many times have we been in a situation and all hell was breaking loose? Peace Be Still. How many times has someone made us so angry and you almost forgot you loved Jesus? Peace Be Still! Instead of running around trying to figure things out yourself; go to The Master, He is the answer for the wor
ld today. Call on Him! Invite Him into your situation. The men on the boat woke Jesus up. They brought Him into their situation. You can’t get mad because God won’t show up and show out when you haven’t given the situation over to Him. Trust Him, church. Lean on Him, church, He loves you. When you see your children going through difficulties, don’t you want to help them? God is just waiting to speak Peace Be Still into your life.”
________
Mama Eloise invited George to have Sunday dinner with her family. Everyone had a pleasant time talking. The Blanks clan interrogated him in a nice way, and he was a champ about it. After dinner, the boys invited George into the den with them.
“Mama, he seems really nice,” Lizzie said, smiling at her mother.
“He is, he is a nice man.”
“He’s handsome, too, Mama,” Elisea added.
“Don’t I know it?” Mama Eloise winked. She had been watching Elisea and she knew her baby was not feeling well. “Elisea, come here.” She walked over and sat next to her mother. Mama Eloise pulled her closer, caressed her forehead, and rubbed her hair back. She always did that for Elisea when she was sick and it made her feel better. She relaxed in the bosom of her mother.
“ I was thinking that we should do a family photo shoot once we all have these babies,” Tricia suggested.
“Oh, that would be nice,” Felicia said. “Lacey, why are you quiet?” Felicia noticed she was off.
“Honey, I’m just tired I think. Being pregnant is draining, and everything else that is going on. Today is just one of those days.”
“What can we help with?” Lizzie asked.
Lacey cried. Lizzie and Tricia surrounded her while Felicia held onto baby Faith, rocking her to sleep. Mama Eloise still rubbed Elisea’s head. They all looked around at each other because they were not used to seeing Lacey emotional. After a while, she dried her eyes.
“I’m sorry, y’all. Sometimes, I get so tired of being strong and being there for everybody. Who is there for me?” Lacey told them.
“Lacey, what did my son do now?”
“Humph, well, let’s see, besides falling in love with Sheila, oh yeah, he got her pregnant, so I am pregnant at the same time as his mistress.”
The ladies were speechless. “My God, my God!” Mama Eloise cried out.
“I know what you are going through all too well,” Tricia said.
“Mud doesn’t love her, though.”
“Maybe Junior doesn’t, either. You know men are stupid, maybe it’s just infatuation,” Tricia tried to help.
Lacey shook her head no. “But, look, we don’t want anybody other than the family to know. Her husband won’t know. I had Sheila sign a confidentiality agreement and in return for her silence, her baby will be considered a part of the family. It’s not the baby’s fault.”
“How is that going to make sense to her husband?” Felicia asked.
“The church knows that Junior and Sheila are close, so it would only sense that we are the baby’s godparents.”
Mama Eloise shook her head. She didn’t know what she was going to do with her boys. She looked down at Elisea. Everybody has lost his or her ever-loving mind. She raised her hand, and said, “Peace be still in the mighty name of Jesus!”
_______
After dinner, Junior suggested the entire family to take a walk together. They looked at him like he was crazy because it had been a while since they did that, but everyone obliged. As they all walked around the neighborhood, they walked pass each other’s houses since they were all close by each other. Junior stopped in front of a particular house.
“What are we stopping for?” Elisea fussed.
“Edem and Ruthie, this is my wedding gift to you,” Junior said, holding out the keys to them.
“Man, are you serious?” Edem and Ruthie hugged Junior and Lacey.
“I want a house!” Elisea whined.
“Get married then!” Junior teased.
“I can’t believe you got us a house walking distance from all of y’all. Gee, thanks, Junior,” Edem said jokingly.
“We get on your nerves, but you know you love us,” Mud said, bear hugging Edem.
“Come on, baby. Let’s go check out our new house.”
“Edem, I can’t believe this,” Ruthie said as they walked into the foyer of their new home. “This is a mansion.” Edem laughed at his wife.
They walked through the house saying prayers as they went through each room. Edem made up his mind that he did not want to have the family in the house until it was completely decorated. Ruthie agreed; they were so compatible.
The Blanks clan waited anxiously outside thinking that they were about to go in, but Edem shut that down quick. The brothers fussed, but understood. The women felt a little slighted, so they all walked back to Mama Eloise’s.
Chapter 15
Jezebel was taking it up the rear and had another orderly’s dick in her mouth. Clay banged her, making her insides throb. She was not attracted to either man, but her body needed it, plus, she needed to keep as many men in her pocket as she could to execute her plan. So, she threw it back on him like she was feeling him. His dick was average, but what was a girl to do. The other orderly, Sam, was average, too. Jezebel rolled her eyes to herself and pretended to enjoy herself.
Slurping and moaning sounds filled the room. She put in her good work as she usually did. Most men could not resist her charms. The patient in the room they used woke up from all of the noise. The threesome came to an abrupt end, and Jezebel was glad it was over.
Before her shift was over, she checked in on her sister, who was sleeping peacefully. She shook her head. The process took longer than she expected. Sometimes, she wondered if Delilah was doing as she was told. Walking out of the room, she ran into one of the nurses.
“Hey!” Jezebel greeted.
“Mmmm,” the nurse said, giving her the stank eye.
“What’s your problem?” Jezebel got in her face.
“I don’t have a problem, what is your problem?” the nurse snapped.
“You know what…” Jezebel stopped mid-sentence. She did not have the time nor the patience to deal with that chick. “Never mind, you aren’t even worth it!” Jezebel threw her hands up and walked off.
After Jezebel worked her shift, she was ready to go home. She didn’t mind working there; it gave her something to do. She liked being close to Delilah, but she needed those meds to get out of her system because at the moment, she didn’t trust Delilah not to mess things up.
When she arrived to her little apartment, she noticed the door open. She slowly opened it and peeked inside. Her small, one bedroom apartment had been ran-sacked. She knew then that her family had found her. She thought about calling the police, but she couldn’t. She didn’t want them to get in trouble; she just wanted to be left alone. So, instead, Jezebel straightened her apartment before taking a nice, hot bath, contemplating her next move.
________
Elisea and Lizzie pulled into the parking lot of Damien’s apartment.
“Sis, are sure you want to do this?”
“Yeah, he needs to know that I’m pregnant.”
Lizzie sucked her teeth. She didn’t agree with her one bit, but she knew she couldn’t stop her sister once she had her mind made up. Before they could get out the car, Damien and Lilith walked around the corner on their way to Damien’s car. They seemed to be arguing.
“Look, there he is. Isn’t that Lilith Harlot?” Lizzie looked over at Elisea for answers.
“Sssh, I can’t hear.”
“Boy, what is wrong with you? Why can’t you just what you are told!” Lilith screamed.
Damien raised his hand to hit her. Elisea and Lizzie gasped covering their mouths.
“You gonna hit your mama, boy? Is that what we do now?”
“His mother?” Elisea whispered to Lizzie.
“Don’t start with me, woman!” Damien walked off toward his car, started it, and peeled out of the driveway.

; “Where are you going?” Lilith screamed after him, but to no avail. She threw her hands up and stomped back into the apartment cursing him out.
Lizzie and Elisea looked at each, speechless for a while. Elisea started to breath heavy and clutched her chest.
“Elisea? Are you ok?” Lizzie rubbed Elisea’s arm; who was in the midst of a full blown panic attack. Realizing the magnitude of the situation, Lizzie got out the passenger seat and walked over to the driver’s side. “Scoot over.” Lizzie pushed Elisea to make her move until she climbed over to the passenger side of the car. Lizzie high tailed it out of there. She didn’t know what to do but pray. “Breathe, Elisea! Breathe, and pray.” Lizzie drove straight home, calling her mother on the way. She pulled up in record time. Mama Eloise met them at the car.
When she opened the car door and saw the state of her child, she grabbed her and Lizzie rushed to her side to help her into the house. “Elisea baby, calm down. Lizzie, get me a paper bag out of the drawer.” Mama Eloise sat Elisea down on the couch. She rubbed her back, trying to calm her down. Lizzie returned with a brown paper bag. “Here, baby, blow into this.” Elisea knew the routine from when she was younger. She suffered from anxiety attacks as a teenager. Mama Eloise looked at Lizzie and mouthed, Call everybody.
Lizzie went into the bathroom to call the family. One thing about the Blanks clan, they stuck together and handled things as a family. Everyone stopped what they were doing to meet at Mama Eloise’s house. And, truth be told, when Mama Eloise said come, you better show up. Lizzie returned to her sister, whose breathing wasn’t as labored. She sat on the other side of her, rubbing her leg as their mother continued to rub her back.
One by one, the Blanks clan walked in. No one spoke, they knew to sit down and wait for Mama Eloise. She did not repeat herself, so they waited until Eddie, who was last to arrive, to get there. Felicia wasn’t with him, but everyone else had his or her wives with them. Once Eddie was seated, Mama Eloise began.
